Through this practice combining correct breathing (Ujjayi), asanas, vinyasa (breathing synchronised to movement), drishti (direction of gaze), you will obtain infinite benefits. Vinyasa re-establishes natural breathing and ensures excellent blood circulation. When well-practiced, the result is a strong and flexible body. This practice tones and activates the metabolism. It starts with simple positions and builds up to increasingly complex ones. Hatha yoga consists of more static postures yet embraces and develops all skills (stretches, arching, twists, and inversions).
